Student Jobs

The John W. Graham Library serves Trinity College’s undergraduate Arts & Science students, the graduate theology students, faculty, and alumni of Trinity College and Wycliffe College, and the greater University of Toronto and Anglican Church communities who seek our resources.

The Graham Library’s collection of over 200,000 volumes is strongest in the humanities – English, philosophy, and classics; in the theological disciplines supporting the programs of the Trinity College Faculty of Divinity and Wycliffe College; and in history, political science, economics, and other subjects relevant to Trinity’s interdisciplinary undergraduate programs (International Relations, Ethics Society & Law, and Immunology). As part of the large and diverse University of Toronto library system, the Graham Library augments resources in direct support of Trinity and Wycliffe Colleges.

Student Library Assistants (SLAs) perform many of the circulation functions at the library, such as signing out books, item retrievals, and account inquires including fines and borrowing activity. They are also responsible for all shelving and shelf maintenance in the library. There are shifts where the library is run by two SLAs with no supervision. Professional development opportunities and ongoing training will be included throughout the year.
